A well dimpled necktie makes a good first impression in business as well as social situations. The dimple is that stylish fold or crease in the portion of the necktie that flows down and out of the knot. It adds a finishing touch of class and snap to any ward robe. Many celebrities, commentators and TV personalities wear a nice neat dimple in their necktie
Let's face it, one of the first things people notice is your necktie knot. If sloppy and lifeless, it makes a poor impression. If neatly dimpled, however, it makes a good first impression and sends a powerful message to others: You care about your personal appearance, show attention to detail, and have a positive self image! It's one of those little things that makes a big difference!
The Dimpler works on the principle that the dimpling process should begin as the necktie feeds into the top of the forming knot. This way the crease or dimple runs well up into the knot and will take and hold as you cinch it down for the final tightening. All of the surfaces of the Dimpler Tie Tool that come into contact with the necktie are sleek, smooth plastic which prevents any snagging or damage to the necktie.
My father always wore a nice neat dimple in his necktie and admonished me to do the same. I, of course, indulged him. One morning, however, I was redoing my dimple for about the third time, when I realized there had to be an easier, more reliable method. That moment was the genesis of the Dimpler Tie Tool. Many prototypes and two patents later, I took the Dimpler to market. I have sold thousands in all fifty states and dozens of countries around the world.
